Club Policies

Cancellation Policy

Soccer is played rain or shine in most countries, though we have to be respectful of weather extremes, including lightning storms, when making decisions on running our program or cancelling due to inclement conditions. Our program may be cancelled for the following reasons:

  • extreme cold (i.e. below 5C)
  • extreme heat (i.e. humidex is over 40C)
  • thunderstorms (lightning is a serious hazard)
  • extreme rainfall (heavy rain combined with cleats can ruin a field)

Refund Policy

Parents may request refunds up to 2 weeks after the start of the season. After that deadline passes absolutely no refunds will be provided. Please plan accordingly.

Player Policy

Players who are registered with another soccer club are not permitted to join or play for any A-Series Football club (Pictou County FC, Brookfield FC, etc.). Playing for multiple teams will inevitably cause scheduling conflicts, and we cannot successfully execute matches and tournaments. We need to be fair to our club membership.

We do acknowledge that players may wish to participate in other sports such as baseball, softball, lacrosse, etc., and are encouraged to be as active as they can as long as they can still commit to playing football.
